Morgan Wade is a second year PhD student on the Interdisciplinary Biosciences DTP and she joined Gail’s group to study the use of essential oils as natural biocides against plant bacterial pathogens. Morgan is co-supervised by Helen Townley and Ian Thompson from the Chemical Engineering/Nanoparticle groups located at the Begbroke Science park, where she works with nanoparticles and seed coatings. Morgan is also passionate about science communication, education, and outreach, and is working towards her Certified Interpretive Guide (CIG) training.
Outside of her studies Morgan loves a good book and quality time in the Great Outdoors.
