Oxford Interdisciplinary Bioscience Doctoral Training Partnership
I am a DPhil student on the BBSRC Interdisciplinary Bioscience DTP programme, primarily supervised by Gail Preston and co-supervised by Stephan Uphoff. In 2023, I completed my Integrated Master's in Biological Sciences at the University of Warwick and I also participated in the UNIQ+ programme in 2021.
My research focuses on oxidative stress tolerance and the involvement of amino acid biosynthesis and metabolism in the plant pathogen Pseudomonas syringae - I utilise both bioinformatics approaches and laboratory techniques to explore this.
Outside of the lab, I love being outdoors, being with friends and eating good food!
Please feel free to contact me at Chloe.Harper@pmb.ox.ac.uk if you have any questions about my research or the lab.
