Callum Houghton-Flory

I am a DPhil student on the BBSRC Interdisciplinary Bioscience DTP programme, primarily supervised by Gail Preston and co-supervised by Syma Khalid and Luke Clifton. I completed my Integrated Masters in Natural Sciences at the University of Cambridge in 2024, specialising in Biochemistry. My research focuses on the adaptation of the Pseudomonas syringae outer membrane to the plant microenvironment, which I am exploring through bioinformatics, microbiology, molecular dynamics and neutron reflectometry. Outside of the lab I enjoy reading, video games and being in nature.
