I am a DPhil student on the Interdisciplinary Bioscience Doctoral Training Programme funded by the Oxford-NaturalMotion Graduate Scholarship and BBSRC. I completed my Bachelors in Life Sciences and Masters in Biotechnology from India. I joined Gail's group to study the interactions between plants and pathogens at the molecular level. I am currently working with the Pseudomonas syringae - Arabidopsis thaliana pathosystem to uncover the changes in the complete set of RNA-binding proteins (RBPs), or "RBPome" of a plant during pathogen infection. With my project, I hope to understand the role RBPs play in plant immunity.
